So something i haven't really mentioned on this pl

So something i haven't really mentioned on this platform yet is that i've taken a break from working on BAD ANGELS for the time being ... because i've been writing a vampire novel 🧛🏻

i started back in January because i had an idea i wanted to type out, and i just figured i'd see where it'd go from there, and 80k words later we're here! 😰 i'm not at the end yet but pretty far along, n i plan to go all in with media kits and ARCs for my dear ones cuz i can only ever commit to things with my whole ass. i'm diverting my creative energy with a custom tea blend, gonna print thick sexy bookmarks, n experiment with spraying the edges of the printed copies once they're available if that's not TOO ambitious.

i feel very strongly about accessibility when it comes to my art, so the final work will always be available for free and i'll be recording an audiobook for those with sensory needs as well. i have most of what i have already hosted on my website if you want to see what i have so far, but be forewarned i've already gone through multiple drafts and the final product will likely see some changes compared to what i have written. Dipping my toes into this medium has been an incredible experience for me and i already want to write more after i complete my first story. 😊🩸🦇🫀💀

gonna try doin the being active on ig thing again. had to take a break because some friends who were not my friends turned out to be holding these weird classist beliefs against me and it gave me some pretty bad body dysmorphia. i realize those views have way more to do with their feelings about themselves than me, and normally it's not something i put any true thought into, but shit hits different when it's people you trust. real love is seeing people. i love you, and i see you.

Last year was also difficult for other reasons that also had me less active on sm, but i'll talk about that another time.

i have better access to health care now, and it's been an extremely difficult change getting here. i'm not all where i need to be mentally yet, but i'm getting closer. Will start putting some other stuff up retroactively, cuz it's been an interesting time - i'll catch you all up from there 🫀 xx

3rd time seeing The Cure live and this was definitely the best performance i've seen them put on yet. Gonna post some more later, just wanted to space out pictures of the stage so it wouldn't look so stale (we got burgers at Casino el Camino afterward🍔) but every single song had its own unique visuals and truly next level light show. There was so much passion and vision finessed into this tour -i can never believe how much love swells inside me each time i've seen them play. i have so much gratitude for last night 🥲
