End Notes – Archived April 8, 2023 / 1st Generation Angels are those who were Made and not Born. They are immortal and can only truly die from being Unmade –an act only Gabriel can uniquely perform. If a 1st Gen is mortally wounded while occupying a physical, non-celestial body, then he will respawn at peak health in his home realm. If he is wounded in his home realm then he will heal at the same rate as an average human until he returns to peak health. A Demon is an Angel who no longer occupies Heaven, either voluntarily or because he was Disgraced. Apostates are the original rebel angels who went to war against Heaven in the Great Schism, & mostly occupy Hell. The Grigori are demons from the Second Great Fall who participated in carnal indulgences with human beings; they mostly reside in Hell. Solitary demons usually live on Earth and tend to have been disgraced for individual misdeeds, or chose to leave Heaven or Hell to live independently. They’re typically hermits. Angels only manifest as one sex. The absence of dimorphism has kept them from developing gender or gender roles. However, they may have traits such as breast tissue, wider/narrower hips and/or shoulders, or extra body hair. They always have an Adam’s apple and never grow facial hair. 2nd Generation Angels are those who were conceived by at least one 1st Gen parent. Provided the offspring is breastfed in his infancy by a 1st Gen, a 2nd Gen may be immortal and therefore only able to truly die by being Unmade. If he does not nurse by an early enough age, then he is far more vulnerable -ageless, able to recover from traumatic injuries, and capable of eternal life so long as he avoids too great of harm, but not genuinely immortal. 3rd Generation Angels are those who are conceived by at least one 2nd Gen parent (provided the other parent is not 1st Gen). There is no way for a 3rd Gen to be immortal, though they are still ageless & able to recover from traumatic injuries that would be fatal to the average human.4th Generation angels are those whose parents are both 3rd Gen. They have the same qualities as 3rd Gen angels except they are sterile and unable to reproduce. There are seven regions in Heaven: Shamayim, Raquia, Shehaqim, Machanon, Machon, Zebul, & Araboth. Gabriel lives in Shamayim, “The First Heaven”, which is in perpetual winter. Gabriel’s Father reigns in Araboth, “The Seventh Heaven”, where the Elysian Fields may be found. Hell has two metropolitan cities: Pandemonium & Dis. Pandemonium was the first city to be founded in Hell and is located near the intersection of the rivers Styx and Lethe. It is governed by a Council of 66 Princes, also known as Devils. Dis is run by a democratically elected Senate. Resident Angels of Heaven were not allowed by their Father to reproduce until the Age of Men. Diluculum and Crepusculum, whose duties were the management of sunrise and the moon cycles, violated this rule and were disgraced for conceiving the bastard Sammael, the first angel ever born. Relationships between Residents of Heaven and Demons -be they platonic, romantic, or sexual- are quietly tolerated though socially condemned. An angel will not be disgraced for fraternizing with demons unless there is sufficient evidence of Treason against Heaven. Different eras in Angelic History share names with days of the week and are referred to as Days. Angels have poor perception of time, so though Days span several million years, their experience feels closer to centuries. Sunday is notable for being the first recorded Day and for its sparse events or conflicts during this time.
