This chapter has been such a roller coaster getting published. From not hitting my personal goals on my dedicated schedule, to recovering from a minor elective surgery, to spraining my thumb in my drawing hand only a week later, and finally having my scanner giving me techinical issues that it’s never given me before in the final stretch, every step has been such a headache. It’s been fun in its own way, but now i’ve got a headstart at being behind on how far along i’d like to be on my next one 🙃

oh yeah and a new development: in keeping with the Geocities inspired theme of my page i’ve recently added a Guestbook! Sign it if you want, it’s just there for fun~😝

i guess here is where i thank folks for their eyeballs. Thank you (Top Left to Bottom Right) Erchis, Tahnee, Jehnny, Eric, Juan, Taylor, Bobby, Daniel, Hillary, Bleeding Shroud, Amanda, April, Zoie, Ray, and Harrison for your contributions to the collage!

i’m aways fooling myself about how many gottdang musical eastereggs i write in. Here i am beating myself up that it hasn’t been part of the story in a moment but then as i go over it for these write-ups i’m like… oh yeah. i meant to include another on Lou’s baseball tee, but here’s the thing: i forgot. Regarding his Kate Bush shirt, i outlined these pages over a year ago and it’s purely serendipitous that she’s highly in vogue at the moment, i promise!! And if you think you might know but need any confirmation, the two bands Gabriel is discussing on the last page are The Birthday Party and Suicide.

Last, I’d like to take time to remember Martha De Leon, who tragically left us at the young age of 32. Though she deserved more time with us, Martha lived her life more fully than many people who make it to old age. She was someone who was so undeniably her authentic self, and loved without inhibition nor limit. In her last months she was dedicated to educating her community to health and safe practice. This is the gift she leaves us with, proof that we have no reason to hold ourselves back. Thank you, Martha, for giving everything you had.
